By posting a message on the European Playstation Blog, the producer of Killzone 2 Seb Downie said that the development studio was going to take a break after the release of the third Map Pack, Napalm & Cordite.

“Right now, we’ll put us off Killzone 2,” said Downie. “We worked non-stop since the release of the disc with the release of patches and DLC, so we must take the time to take stock.”

This could mean that the third Map Pack would be the last. It is available from this afternoon on the Playstation Store, and Sony announced a promotional offer soon gathering 3 Maps Packs at a special price (not announced) under the original name of “Map Pack Bundle.
