Quickly after rumors started spreading last week that actor Jeff Goldblum had died, it became apparent that the story was a hoax. Fellow actor Kevin Spacey even publicly confirmed that Goldblum was alive and well.
But that didn’t stop the story from spreading wildly on Twitter, and even being reported on the Today Show in Australia.
